A chain of WRE54G access points?

Greetings. I live at a remote cattle ranch and I wish to use wireless access points to provide internet at a cabin which is about 270 feet from the main house. There is a hill in the way, which blocks wireless access to the Wireless-G Broadband Router WRT54G at the main house.

My thought was to put a Wireless-G Range Expander WRE54G in out window to talk to the WRT54G, and a second WRE54G up in a tree to get above the hill that is in the way, in line-of-sight of the cabin.

Will this work? Will the WRE54G near the cabin see the WRE54G in out window, which will in turn talk to the WRT54G router on the other side of the room?

If it were just a matter of buying the two WRE54G devices and trying it, I would; but it seems a better idea to just ask an expert or two. :)

    Thank you.

Use WDS. I have a network running WDS over 700 ft around a side of a mountain and Pine trees. Search for how to set up a WDS network.
