is there any downside to using WPA2 Personal (TKIP+AES).
    I've got WRT54GL & WPC54g v3 in my notebook.

I've set up WPA2 personal (TKIP+AES) with a mighty passphrase (63 digits I think). everything is working fine, but my question is wil there be some performance problems if I use this setting?

Also, in WPA Personal, what's better to use: AES or TKIP?

The only thing that comes to mind is that the stronger the encryption you use, the slower your data transfer speeds may become; the weaker the encryption, the faster your data transfer speeds will be.
