i would like to use the AC adapter of my WRT54GL v1.1 on my WRT54GS v2 and the other way around. Looks like both deliver 12V/1A on output, but im not sure. Does anyone know how much different AC adapter Linksys uses on the WRT54XX Models ?

ratings should be written on the adapters.
I've used very different adapters on different devices, as long as the plug fits and the ratings are compatible (same voltage, equal or greater amperage).
I also often use generic power adapters.

So, as long as the ratings and plugs fit, you should be good to go.

the only model adapter that won't interchange in the WRT line is the v1 WRT54G router. It uses 5VDC instead of 12.

Be sure though whatever adapter you use is around 12V DC (experts say 7 - 20V will do), at least 400mA, and positive center on the connector.
