I was wondering if anyone knows how to adjust the ack timing to improve throughput on long wireless links using a WRT54g ver 3.0 adn DDWRT v23. I am using high gain antennas so signal strength is not a problem. The issue is that over the long distance links the time taken for a message round trip causes timeouts.

I have found the following code which is supposed to improve the situation but still does not change the ack timing

    wl lrl
    wl srl
    wl cwmin
    wl cwmax
    wl shortslot_override

    Any help would be appreciated
