I have successfully set up brand new (manufactured 09/2005) ADSL2MUE in 'bridged' mode and connected to BEFSR81 v2 router - broadband service working fine as far as I can tell.

However, my home network runs as 192.168.0.nn, so I changed the IP address on the ADSL2MUE to for it to be addressable within my existing network - default is

    BEFSR81 is DHCP server and

Is there something I can change to fix this or must I resort to a reset and connect it to laptop and reconfigure from scratch if I need to check/change anything ?

one the modem is in bridged only mode i don't belive you can access the web interface from behind a router.

each time you want to have a look at the modems config you need to wire directly from the modem to your pc.
