A friend of mine has a specific service provider supplied modem/wireless router/ATA device that he is forced to use - can't switch to a Tomato compatible router. Could you please advise on an off the shelf repeater that is available in the UK (ideally PC World or Dixon's etc) that requires minimal configuration, AND would work with this de-badged modem/router/ATA device.

    Kind Regards.

AFAIK you cannot buy Tomato off the shelf. DD-WRT is available off the shelf but only from the DD-WRT Shop.

    Thanks Llig,

I was actually asking about a off the shelf cosumer grade product from the likes of D-Link or Belkin etc that would work with a generic wireless router to extend its range.

How is that related to Tomato?

If you've got nothing constructive to add, the best you can do is not say anything... ignore the thread, that way, you waste no ones time, including yours... thanks for stopping by though...

I wanted to ignore, but once I saw this, I had to come in. U are rude. LLigetfa was asking whether your query had anything to do with Tomato, simply because this is the forum for Tomato firmware. I believe your question would have been better answered in the other sections.
