my problem is that after FW update the Internet doesn´t work. It comes the message "Can not get an IP address from PPPoE Server".
Before FW update it was ok.
Also i can not connect on the Router with cable. Just over wlan...

    Can somebody please help me???

Download the prevous firmware. You should be able to anyway. Then just dont upgrade.

I have test it then with different fw´s. Sveasoft, wifi-box, linksys 3.0.x, linksys 4.x. No one of them is working (internet and connect with cable).

Just had the same problem and got it fixed this morning. Tried upgrading the firmware using the web interface, no go. Tried using the auto config installer from linksys, no go.

To correct, manually set your IP to something like (Subnet with no gateway/dns entries defined. Try and ping your router (usually If you get a response, you can still see your router.

Get a copy of a working BIN that is less that 3 megs in size. I got the newest version (4.00.7) from Linsys's website for my WRT54GV1.1 router. Next, drop to DOS and change to the folder where the .BIN file is stored. Rename it to something smaller like code.bin

    Finally, type this:

    tftp -i put code.bin

If all goes well, you should see a Transfer Successfull message. Watch your power light on your router. It will blink like crazy for a bit and then go back to a static light. Your router should now have the latest firmware and rebooted itself. Try accessing the web interface again and setting up your PPPOe connection. I just did mine about 10 minutes ago... With the previous versions, I couldn't get a PPPOe connection at all...

    Good luck!

are you sure your provider uses PPPoE ?

if you use PPTP and set it for PPPoE you will get the same error msg....
