Trying to find firmware for my linksys AG241v2 Annex-A to make him work over ISDN. As I understood for such thing I must have Annex-B version of hardware, but is there any chance that changing of firmware may help? If yes, can any one send me a link or bin file. I downloaded from Linksys AG241V2-DE_AnnexB_ETSI_v2.01.00_00* 2_code.bin , but I'm little bit skeptic about that firmware  . If this subject was already discussed on forum, please sorry guys, I was trying to find post but was overwhelmed with data.

    Current Settings:

    Firmware Version: 2.01.00 , Apr 26 2006
    Boot Version: 0.22.19
    CodePattern: AG3A
DSl DSP Datapump version: [] Annex A

And pleaseeeeeeeeeeee help, I’m very desperate!

I know that for the fritzbox is possible to change Annex B to A.
Why dont you simply try to flash the AnnexB fw...? If it doesn't work, you can always rollback to the AnnexA version...
let me know if you did it

    Linksys technical support

this is the answer from linksys techical support  . After that I lose my appetite for experiment.

Thank you for contacting Linksys® Technical Support. My name is Alex and I will be assisting you with your concern.

We do not believe that it is possible to change the router’s firmware from Annex A to Annex B. This is strongly discouraged for this will potentially damage the router. Hence, warranty will be void. Routers with Annex A firmware must be updated with Annex A firmware only.

Thank you and have a nice day!

I really dont think the AnnexA fw would damage your hardware.
In the case your router does not start, you can always install a new firmware via tftp.

    Anyway it's up to you....
