    G'day all,

    I've recently purchased a WRT54G v7 Router (none of the earlier revisions were available) and am trying to set it up to work with the existing DHCP server we have here.
    Problem being though that the DHCP addresses aren't being assigned to wireless clients.

    Currently we've got Router -> Switch -> WRT54G.
    The router has a DHCP address given to it, but doesn't forward other requested DHCP addresses.

    Anyone got any ideas on how this could be fixed?

    you should set the wrt54g

    you should set the w/l router to a static ip outside of the dhcp pool but still within the the subnet. eg:

    your router's address is

    your set the dhcp pool to

    you can then set the wrt54g to as long as the last digit is not within the range of 1 to 60;you are ok.

    Thankyou for the replies, both have been instrumental in getting this thing to work.
