is possible to build in an antenna or even a WLAN on/off swich?

I want to modify the router (to build a WLAN on/off switch in), because I don't want to run the WLAN all the time.

I know, the WLAN part can be switched off via the web-interface, but this is not very confortable.

Many Laptop have a WLAN on/off swich build in.

    Sorry for the rusty english.

With HyperWRT Tofu and Thibor, as long as you turn off the SecureEasySetup in "Advanced Wireless", the SES button (Cisco logo button) BECOMES a WLAN on/off switch. Push it, it briefly lights up white, and the WLAN radio turns off. Push it again, it briefly lights up white again, and the WLAN radio turns back on.

What kind of dummy load would you have to add to "groud out" the antenna with a switch?

Dummy loads need to be a bit large in order to disapate the rf energy as heat. This would pose two problems: not enough space in the router housing, and exess heat.

I would definately go the route of turning off the radio instead of adding a dummy load.
