    Can anyone help me?
Do any linksys ADSL devices such as WAG54G all-in-one ADSL router support "ppp half bridge" mode?

I want the router to use its in-build PPPoA client to authenicate a ADSL session with my ISP then brdige the REAL IP address to an internal ethernet HOST (done using DHCP? - also called DHCP spoofing).

Many low end ADSL routers support ppp half bridge (see but is there any firmware available that allows a linksys DSL router to do this?

    Thanks in advance!!!

i dont own the WAG54G but according to the manual on linksys' website it does have a bridged only mode in which the nat and routing is disabled it says that the unit will then function as a stand alone modem i cannot say if it will give you a global ip though i suspect that it will
