    KI'm sitting with 2 G's V2 within 5 feet of each other.
    After much todo, i have gotten the laptop on client router to access internet thru main router.

    It will get IP from client DHCP through wired port only.
    It will not connect to client via wireless.
    Doesn't even see it (yes ssid broadcast is on)
    it is the same ssid as the main router, but i turned ssid broadcast off on main for now.

    I've read, tinkered, prayed, nada.

    Additionally, even when laptop is wired to client, I cannot see other computers in my same workgroup hooked up to main router and visa versa.

    any ideas PLEASE!

    my setup is as instructed here;

    I even changed the IP's so there on the same network.
    168.0.1=main 168.0..5=client

    Wireless clients can NOT connect to a WRT that is operating in client mode. This is simply a limitation of client mode. You probably want to look into WDS which will make the WRT function as a wireless repeater.

    See this post for a little more on Client Mode vs. WDS.
