Just wanting to know if you could do anything for the USR8054 firmware. maybe even give them a hand to get it right. Everytime I go on eMule to test out this router, after so many connections the router just reboots its-self. please help us before i keep the Linksys WiFi GS
I think where located at DSLREPORTS forum, no where else to go but buy a linksys

Nice work on the Linksys firmware. Any updates on the 1.4v
    speedbooster needed to test

    thanx Golf

Don't pin your hopes on the Linksys WRT54G either. I'm having lots of problems with BitTorrent that I think are connection-related.

I believe the concurrent TCP/IP sessions limit for WRT54G is somewhere between 512 or 1024.

Windows XP SP2 only allows 10 concurrent sessions! You should use xp-antispy or some other utility to boost this value as it will give problems when you are using p2p.

What is the concurrent sessions on a WRT54GS?
Is WRT54GS way better then WRT54G?
Does anyone have any problem with the WRT54GS?
Does upgrading to a 3rd party firmware VOID the warrenty on a linksys WRT?

If anyone else can answer these questions or a link containing the answers to these question would be most appreciated.

As far as firmware upgrades and warrenty/RMA service....

I have RMA'd MANY Linksys devices. I doubt very much they do much more than recevie your package and ship a new/refurbished unit. I doubt very much they take the time to boot up a router and check it out prior to replacing it.
