We have been using the NSLU2 to serve files for a month or so.
We tried to do a Disk1 to Disk2 backup, with limited success.

The backup seemed to run OK (took 2.5 hours) , but then Drive2 was greyed out, and not accessible.

    Is this intended functionality?
Does Drive 2 remain invisible after the backup?

To make Drive 2 visible again, we had to shutdown all attached components, and the NSLU2 itself. Even after the first time we did this, the drive still was not present.

The second time, it reapperated and the backup data was present.

    Thanks in Advance.

I believe it is greyed to signify that it has a backup on it and therefore can't be used as a second disk. The idea is that disk 2 stays redundant when a backup has been performed and is swapped with disk 1 (physically) if disk 1 dies.
