Bandwidth Last 24hours charts not surviving reboot

My 3G internet connection is flaky and because of this problem requires me to reboot a few times each day on my E3000 running Shibby's version 1.28.0000 MIPSR2-092 K26 USB Big-VPN. I have both my Bandwidth and IP Traffic stats saved on an SD card in the 3G modem, which is working fine. Both are saved in the same location and both are set to save the stats "every hour".

What I have noticed however is that when I reboot, the pretty "Bandwidth > Last 24hours" chart gets reset (i.e. is empty) after each reboot, while the "IP Traffic > Last 24hours" chart manages to keep the data. I should add that the Bandwidth > Daily/Weekly/Monthly numerical stats are not being lost, it's just the Last 24hours chart that is empty after a reboot.

Any ideas how this can be fixed? It's annoying as the Bandwidth > Last 24hours chart is the one I like to consult the most.
