thanks in advance for anyone who read this or helped me out with this.

I am trying to establish my WRT54G as a WDS, due to the fact that I just got FIOS installed a couple of hours ago.

    I am using HyperWRT 2.0, version 3.01.3.

The new router is an Actiontec MI424WR.

I know there are steps on how to do this on the site, as I have read them and I just can't follow them very there anyone in the interwebs land who can help me do this? its not TOO complicated to do is it? I know the WRT54 pretty well, and the actiontec is pretty easy to get around in.

anyone feel like lendin a hand?

    thanks again, scott

see my entry under another thread, I bridged the Actiontec to my existing Linky by hard wiring Actiontec port 1 to Linky WAN port. Then my existing Linky network worked as before, with separate subnet n all. then you can WDS to a 3rd router if you want.

so you are using the actiontec as the bridge instead of the linksys, linkyguy??

actiontec is primary router - original wrt350n N linky with all wireless network is bridged by e'net hard wire from port 1 from actiontec to wan port on wrt350n. then you can wds to other routers from linky....
