[align=left]Sharing an office for a short while and there is only 1 ethernet in each office. Both PCs connect to the network is plugged into it. Tried to use a BEFSR41 to connect both PCs now in the office to the network via the one network outlet in the wall.

Installed cable from wall into WAN port on the router and 2 separate cables in ports 1 & 2 going to the PCs. Lights on router looked like it was going to work but neither PC could see the network.

Tried to use install CD that came with the router to setup router on PC and the only two install options were for "Cable Motem" or "DSL dailup", neither of which were my situation.

How do I configure these 2 PCs to use the router and share the one ethernet LAN connection port in the office?

If theres another router in the system I recommend you try not using the WAN router function, plug the wall socket into one of the 4 ports with a crossover cable and just use Router as a switch. There shouldn't be anything to change on the PCs.
