BEFSX41 - Stops Responding / Disconnects

    We have a BEFSX41 running Firmware 1.52.10. Randomly, it will stop responding to internet requests. All configuration settings are correct.

    I have found that, to fix it.. ALL I have to do is log into the Setup page, and click Save Changes without actually changing anything, and then everything comes back up instantly.

    So, when it stops responding to Internet requests, the LAN still works.

    Any ideas?

    think it may be your dsl/cable modem or service getting interrupted? howd you ever figure out going in and hitting save without changing anything made this stop.. lol

    The Save Changes fix was a shot in the dark. I'm pretty confident that it's not a DSL service issue. When Save Changes is pressed, things work instantly.

    did you recently upgrade to that version of the firmware? did this issue come around since then? have you tried re-flashing the router and or resetting factory defaults

    I have this exact same problem. I have a T1 so I don't think it's the provider. I am going to have to switch back to my old Netgear.
