Need some help folks. I'm currently trying to configure a BEFVP41 V2 router in such a way that employees will be able to access our office network from home and on the road. Had no idea it was going to become such a nightmare.

At first, we tried to implement a WRV54G wireless VPN router. We went through 3 consecutive defective units before finally demanding that Linksys replace it with a working solution. They sent us a WAP54G and a BEFVP41 V2. The access point works beautifully and the router is doing a good job as a router, but all efforts at setting up a Windows XP VPN client and connecting to the network remotely have been met with frustration.

Linksys tech support has been of no use whatsoever. I've gone through the same routine three times today only to be hung up on each time they try to transfer me to a supervisor. :x Wit's end. Any help that anyone here might be able to provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Why don't you try a VPN Client program? Greenbow, SafeNet and SSH Sentinel all shoud work.
