Hey everyone, I am trying to connect my router to my campus network and I am having some issues. I can use it normally as a router, and my PC and Xbox 360 have no problems working.

So you might ask why am I posting something? Well, I want to be able to use my 360 to play games online as well as over the campus network, but because I am behind a router, it never finds games that are on the network. I assume that the 360 is looking at my router as the network, when instead I want it to look for games on the campus network. My friend told me that I should set the router up as just a switch--turning off DHCP and plugging the incoming campus network connection into one of the numbered ports (1-4). I did this and then my Internet on my computer goes extremely slow, sometime not connecting to pages at all, and then my Xbox 360 refused to log in and says it has timed out.

Anyone have any ideas for me?
