Right before i send this puppy back to the shop has anyone got any last gasp ideas to fix this?

    1. flashed firmware with the wrong version (i know i'm stupid :)
    2. power light now continously flashes
    3. I am still connected to the web but my ip is now the one provided by my isp not the one dished out by the router
    4. i can no longer get to the admin page of the router
    5. i have tried holding in the reset button for 30, 40 50 secs no joy, power light still flashes.

am i royaly screwed or is there anything else to try??

Apologies if not in the right area, its my first post and i wanted it to get seen by as many peeps as possible.

    Cheers for any help

What Firmware issue are you having? I mean as in what firmware did you flash to? That you weren't suppose to? Do you know the firmware you had before hand?

got it sorted with the tftp program! I had to change my pc's ip address to a static one 192.168.1.xx. i could then ping the router. then just used the tftp tool to flash the firmware to version4 all sorted!

I have version 2.2 but I flashed Alchemy 6 which is unsuitable!

the lights show that it communicates normally but I can't find the router in any ip.

It doesn't give dhcp, and with and gateway 1.1 I cant find it anywhere! I am using angry ip scanner...

What can I do? how do we reset settings in version 2.2?
