I apologize if this has already been discussed.

I really love Tomato but have been having to use
    DD-WRT version DD-WRT v24-sp2 (04/07/12) mega - build 18946M NEWD-2 K2.6 Eko
    since it is more stable

    Whenever I install
or even the most recent one
it works great for about a day. I have set my Router IP to as well as and even

After about a day the devices will drop IP's all at the same time for about 1-5 minutes disconnecting all internet services. if i renew the IP it comes back Almost like DHCP drops out completely. This happens on both Ethernet and Wireless devices. I am using a Comcast single port Cable Modem (DPX2100 series)

I really like tomato for the ability to assign IP's via Device MAC address. So far I have not found a version of DD-WRT that allows this. Is there one available?

    Please advise...thanks.

You probably should ask on the dd-wrt forum if such a firmware of theirs exists with that feature.

I prefer tomato and would like help resolving this issue.I just can't use it if the firmware keeps dropping local IP addresses. any help would be greatly appreciated.however I was just throwing that out there in case somebody knew of a version of DD WRT with that capability

You could try Toastman's K26RT-N builds. I've used those on this model and they work great. Personally I think the RT branch should be replaced with RT-N but that's just me.
