    I am currently using a WRT54G

I am using Thibor WRT 15c and was wondering is this the best firmware out there right now or is there something better that i can move to?

Is there a firmware that will allow actual port forwarding eg port 8000 from WAN to port 80 LAN web server. Provider blocks port 80. I used to do this no problem with a DLink DI-804 but got a WRT54G ver 2.0 to replace this and add wireless functionality.

I know it does port RANGE forwarding but that's no good unless it's 1 to 1 ports (80-80 etc..)

Yes, Thibor 15c (Rock solid, thank you Thibor) does port redirection as WELL as Range. It's solid too. I use that for VNC as ISP doesn't like ports > 1024 but need to direct to 5900, e.g.

i'm sure that iptable script could do that, however i'm not clued up on the iptables format tbh.

Thanks guys. Thibor's 15c firmware is legendary. Comes even with traffic type QoS!
