I currently have Tomato Firmware v1.28.9054 MIPSR2-beta K26 Std on my WRT320N router, and I am wondering if there are any improvements/upgrades for it? There is nothing new listed on the site. What is the best/stable build for this router?

You can use either the RAF, Shibby, or Toastman builds.

    Based on what I understand:
    • Shibby for features and long-term stability
    • Toastman for cutting-edge performance
These builds are also updated frequently.

With either build, you have to use the K26-MIPSR2-No USB build. AVOID the builds with "NVRAM60K" in them.

Where do I find the K26-MIPSR2-No USB build for Shibby?

I've downloaded tomato-K26-1.28.7500.2MIPSR2Toastman-RT-Std.trx which I assume is the No USB option as it doesn't have USB in the title.

You can convert your WRT320N into an E2000 (the hardware is the same). I found the tutorial somewhere in the DD-WRT Forum.

Then install any E2000-Build. Toastman's tomato-E2000-NVRAM60K-1.28.7500.2MIPSR2Toastman-RT-Std.bin works like a charm for me.

I've tried to wrap my head around converting it, but I just can't seem to. I have opened the file to edit, but I have no idea where to put the values.

Ok I got it converted and DD-WRT is installed on it. Can I just install the TomatoUSB (tomato-E2000-NVRAM60K-1.28.7500MIPSR2Toastman-RT-Std.bin) over top the DD-WRT?

Yes, you can install any E2000 version you like.

But I'd recommend the newer tomato-E2000-NVRAM60K-1.28.7500.2MIPSR2Toastman-RT-Std.bin version or Shibby's newest build.

Why it need to convert WRT320N to E2000 ?
AFAIK there is no big differences between them.

I want to use MAX version of shibby release on my WRT320N .
Now I think how it makes safe - to flash router directly from original software or re-flash them with TomatoUSB and after flash with Shibby release.

    I will use tomato-K26-1.28.RT-MIPSR2-097-Max firmware.

I'm using the latest Toastman build right now, but I find at times my network goes really slow.

If I was to use the Shibby builds on my E2000 (converted WRT320N), would this be the correct version to use? tomato-E2000-NVRAM60K-1.28.RT-MIPSR2-097-Max.bin? Or this version? tomato-K26-1.28.RT-MIPSR2-097-Max.trx?
