block browser information

    Option 1:
    Use Anonymous proxy and disable Java Script.

    Option 2:
    Use Tor to browse ( )

    One way or another nothing to do with routers :)

    Not really. You'd need less of a router and more of a deep inspection capable firewall that's going to rewrite packet information on the fly. Obviously this'll break on SSL sites, but should work on stuff sent in the clear.

    I'm sure someone's written a plugin for pfSense or M0n0wall to do it, but I'm not sure of one offhand. I do know you can use a plugin in Firefox to spoof the x-User-Agent string...

    What're you trying to achieve, if you don't mind my asking>
