I use my WRT54G as a Wlan client. So now I want to block the Ip adresses in the other network without the router. is this possible in the firmware 6.0a

Run that by me again. You have a WRT54 as running in client mode (connected to a wireless internet connection)? You then want to block that IP? If it is a client of another network, just ensure your firewall is enabled including "Block Anonymous Internet Requests". That should do it.

Then you should be fine. Just make sure you use a different subnet then your neighbour on your APclient (WRT54g). Also enable your firewall including "Block Anonymous Internet Requests". Your neighbour shouldn't be able to see anything but the AP as it will be part of his subnet on the WRT54g WAN side. You internal network should be completely transparent.
