block smb file share

    i wan block smb file share windows, i use access restriction ip tcp/udp 445-449 and 135-139 but no work.
    how to i can block it? for reduce load system

    There is no easy way beacuse traffic in "Network Neighborhood" comes only through switch. This type of traffic isn't routed so you can't block him using iptabless, access restrictions ect. You will need ebtables or some bridge to filter traffic or separate clients into different vlan's. Last thing it's possible but overall performance will drop down. Look openwrt forums there are some threads about that problem.
