I have a BlackBerry Curve 8320 and the latest version of Tomato on my Linksys WRT54GL router and for a long time have been able to make calls over WiFi (UMA) with my bluetooth headset. Yesterday I got a new headset, Jawbone 2, and it just doesn't work when I try to make calls over WiFi. My old Plantronics headset works just fine though. When I use my Jawbone it just says "Calling" and I don't hear anything happening until the call fails and then the phone jumps off WiFi back to regular EDGE signal.

Anyone have this problem and find a resolution?

Hit and you'll see plenty of folks with the same issue.

It has nothing to do with Tomato.

There are lots of theories as to why the issue. The stock wild-ass-guess solutions are to try changing WiFi channel (possible BT interference), hope that the imminent BBOS 4.5 release from RIM/T-Mobile fixes whatever, or that Aleph will release a firmware update for their headsets.

Further discussion would be more useful on Blackberry and/or Aleph forums.
