My home wireless network consists from WRT54GS broadband router with range extender. I've just purchased a network-enabled DVD player. It has only Ethernet interface and I'd like to connect it to my wireless home network. Can I use WGA54G game adapter for this purpose or it is suitable for XBOX only? Simply it is much cheaper than wireless ethernet bridge WET54G. I can't understand, why WGA54G can be used with gameboxes only.
    Please explain.
    Thank you.

In theory it should work.. Also, you could get another 54g or 54gs and put a third party firmware on it and use WDS to hook up the devices..

    Just a thought...
