Not sure why, but I can no longer access the router via
The browser just sits the and times out as if there is no web server in that address.
The router itself still runs and all computers that are connected, report gateway address as

What is the best way to go about fixing this, hopefully without losing the configuration?

    Thanks in advance,//

Does this behavior persist after a reboot? Unplug it, count slowly to five*, plug it back in, wait a minute. It's possibly that the router's httpd process died for some unknown reason.

*Yes, this is an old superstition. I have no idea if waiting a few seconds before plugging it back in does anything or not.

Sounds like it's time to use the magical reset switch! :)

Can you still ssh or telnet into the router? If so, do you see httpd running? (Try typing "ps | grep httpd" and see if you get any results other than the grep command).

If there isn't an httpd daemon, what happens when you start one by running "cd /www; httpd" ?

I must have turned off the SSH access, and Telnet does not like my login/password.. I have a feeling it is big reset time, and rebuild it again.. there goes a saturday..
    Anyone with a better idea?

If your router has as SES/AOSS button on the front, you should hold it down for more than 20 seconds; this starts a telnet session on port 233 to which you can login without a password. Type
    telnet <your router's ip> 233
Given that, it sounds like something is seriously hosed with your router. Is it coincidence that httpd and sshd both disappeared at the same time. A re-flashing and a big-reset might be just the right thing.:

    Thank you!
I used the SES button to get in via port 233 and used the telnet commands to turn on HTTPD.. rebooted, and is well.. (SSD was off because I never turned it on)
