Can't get multiwan working!

I've got an asus RT-N16. I just flashed the 2019.1 freshtomato firmware yesterday on to it and have been trying to set up multiwan.

I have two internet connections, one fiber and one cable.

Either one works if I plug it into the WAN port. Neither one works when plugged into the WAN2 port (lan1). Neither works in WAN2 with or without anything plugged into WAN.

Also, DHCP for my local lan doesn't work. I have to set ip addresses manually.

Does anyone know what the issue is? I've attach some screen caps for you. Image7.png Image6.png Image5.png Image4.png Image3.png

Your WANs don't get an IP via DHCP. Investigate that before anything else, perhaps try removing the modem router IP on both WANs

Actually, wan1 does get an ip via dhcp. I just didn't post a pic of that since I am limited to 5 pics and I wanted to show what happens when a connection is only plugged into wan2 and that it doesn't work with even only one connection when wan2 is involved.

Hey I got it working. I simply had the second connection plugged into the wrong port! I thought the port numbering was like that shown in tomato's page but it's actually the reverse of that on my router.

BTW the correct firmware for the RT-N16 is the freshtomato-K26USB_RT-MIPSR2-2019.1-______ builds.

Yes making mistakes on physical ports in tomato in rather common... good it works now :)
