Change WL channel via SSH? Reset factory defaults?

I have a WRT54G that I can access via SSH via the internet (no physical access). The router is currently set to use channel 13. Since this forbids my laptop from connecting to it (and thereafter utilizing the web interface), I need to set the channel back to something standard via SSH.

Factory defaults would work as well.

Is anyone aware of how I can do this?

    Many thanks,

    Figured it out, solution follows:

    nvram set d11g_channel=9
    nvram set wl_channel=9
    nvram set wl0_channel=9
    nvram commit

also tried this on the fly:

    wl down
    wl channel 9
    wl up

The wl stuff is probably only needed if you want to do this on the fly, otherwise the nvram settings should suffice.
