I am wanting to use a few WRT54GL routers as hotspot gateways for my cafe. I will be pointing them to my radius server located at home for the authintication.

Is there a way I can edit the code for the default settings so that if the reset button is used it will reboot back to the settings I want?

easiest way is to save the config as backup (in webgui) and restore it when necessary.

Otherwise if you needed the reset button to reset to custom settings you would need to compile the firmware yourself with a custom defaults.c file. However you cannot define certain things in that file, such as local ip address, because that is stored in the routers CFE.

Just do not use the backup version between firmware upgrades.
