Hello, I currently use tofu 13c in bridge mode. I want to try out the client mode. I understand that the difference between bridge and client mode is that in client mode different subnets are used for the AP and the computer operating as the client and bridge mode the subnets are the same.

What settings changes do I need to make? I tried changing the subnet mask and router IP after changing to the client mode from bridge mode. This didn't connect successfully to the AP. My current bridge settings in basic setup tab are router IP 192.168.0.x
subnet mask and I've turned off the DHCP server.

    thanks for the help

You would have to change the ip address of the Client router to say and turn on DHCP.

Thanks RTS, that worked, the only thing now doesn't work as I hoped is that when I try to log into the router and type in the password the login box just keeps popping up even though I have the correct password.

I had this problem in bridge mode and was able to fix it by making sure that the router address wasn't the same address as the gateway address. In the client mode it looks like(I assume this is correct) the router address is the same as the gateway address. What setting changes do I need to make to allow me to log into the router while connected to the AP?

    thanks, telemarkkid

I though your main route was at Your client router has to be a diff number in the 3rd set (192.168.???.1). Then the using client mode it should recieve the appropriate information from the DHCP server on your main router.

Sorry RTS, I should know by now that I need give the router a few minutes to update and change. After a few minutes, I gave it a few minutes and all is working.

    Sorry again.
