Connecting 2 WRT54G Wirelessly?

My computer is currently connected with a cable directly to a WRT54G using DSL. I have an iMac in a second room with no wireless card or anything. I was going to buy a ethernet bridge to connect but they are a little more than I want to spend for the older iMac. A friend has an extra WRT54G that he's willing to sell to me for $20.

Am I able to rig it up to where I hook the second WRT54G to the iMac and have it connect in to my WRT54G, sharing the connection?

Yes you can do it in many ways. Search for WDS. It would give the most thorough write-up.

You would need to use HyperWRT, Sveasoft or DD-WRT firmware on both routers.
