I just moved into a new place, and the only available Internet is wireless. I got a wireless card that can connect, but the reception is so bad I drop about 90% of the time. I have a wireless router sitting here, and I think if I could get it to act as a repeater I'd be in the clear. I've seen alot of stuff online about how to connect an airport to a linksys router, but nothing about how to do it the other way around. Anyone have any suggestions?

try using 3rd party firmware on the WRT in repeater or WDS mode.

Faced with a similar situation as Kanja, I was interested in the question but you completely lost me with the answer. So I dug and came up with this, which helped understand what you were saying and getting at.

    >>>in repeater or WDS mode<<<

I would still like to know just how to go about it though, in lay terms.
