I segment my wireless LAN from my normal LAN, so my network setup looks like this:

    ----------wifi clients----------tomato-vpn---------wired clients & printers-------router to internet

My previous wireless A/P and router was an old linksys (pre-linux type) that was set as a simple nating router. My mac laptop had zero trouble discovering and attaching to my HP all in one printer/scanner. It found it by discovery and just worked.

That old router died, and I swapped in a new linksys with tomatovpn installed. Now I seem to not be able to connect to the HP C6200 for printing/scanning. I did do a work around for printing by hard coding the IP and port in the printer setup, but it still will not allow scanning.

Putting the printer on the internal side of the firewall is not an option.

    Does anyone have any ideas?
