control bandwidth with the router?

    Is there any way to control the bandwidth. I have 2 computers (1 wireless and 1 ethernet) I want the the ethernet pc only can use aprox 20% of my connection. Couse when it is used for voIP and other stuff it kills my connection. :cry:

    I agree with Bart......the QoS does not reserve bandwidth, it priorotises <sp> types of traffic ir port numbers, or IP etc.

    I don't think DDwrt can allow you to reserve or limit traffic from 1 port or IP etc to a percentage of the available bandwidth. Which is a shame.

    a cheap hardware firewall that can do that is the ZyWall 10W

    So can a free one, if you have a spare small pc. M0nowall is very nice.
