Does anyone have any information about how I can control RS232 devices (like TV, etc) using Tomato or DD-WRT?

One idea I had was using a USB-to-RS232 adapter on a router with a USB port. I don't want to do any hardware modification to the router itself if possible because I'd like to have several of these.

I think it'd work if you recompile tomato to add a according driver to it.

What do you want to control me? :-D
I seem to remember and rfc tat defined the use of rs232 signalling over IP.

Yeah, I was hoping that someone would have more detailed information or instructions about it. I'm very limited from my expertise alone...
