I flushed all the Linksys firmware of all the WRT54G I installed to non techie friends to this HyperWRT 2.0 [Firmware Version v3.01.3]. Sometimes I get calls their WRT54G become inaccessible via [or] so I have to go there to reset them. Is there way to create startup script to add cron to automatically reboot the WRT54G every week? :(

If your non-techie friends have a newer WRT54G with the SES button on front, just add:

    echo "#!/bin/sh" > /tmp/ses_button
    echo reboot >> /tmp/ses_button
    chmod +x /tmp/ses_button
to the startup script. then hitting that button will reboot the router. certainly even the non-techie friends can handle that.
