Hi all, I'm trying to setup a nightly reboot script. I'm doing the following

    echo '00 6 * * * root /sbin/reboot' > /etc/cron.d/reset
    chmod oug+x /etc/cron.d/reset

For some reason it does not work. I've seen people comenting on this forum that the solution is to have an startup script that just sleeps for 24hs and reboots.

Do you have any better idea?

    PS: My router is a WRT54G v2.2

    This works for me

    echo "35 2 * * * root /sbin/reboot" > /etc/cron.d/restart

I tried this with no luck

    echo '10 6 * * * root /sbin/reboot' > /etc/cron.d/resetRouter

Is it posible that the cron daemon is disabled? I see it running when I do ps, but maybe there is more to it...
