Crossover or straight ethernet cable?

    Hi there,

I'm going to be attempting to resurrect a bricked WAP54G using directions found here and other places on the 'net. One thing I want to be really clear on before I proceed:

Do I use a crossover or straight ethernet cable to connect the access point directly to the ethernet card in my PC?

Does this apply also when I use a WAP54G attached to a remote PC to serve as a wireless client? (I'll be doing that to save having to muck around with drivers, ndiswrapper or other nonsense in linux.)
