current wireless speed

    i can't remember if i saw this in tomato or not, but i can't find it now.

    i'm looking for the currently wireless interface speed. i know other firmwares have it and i'm almost sure that the offical linksys one does too.

    anyone know if it's in tomato?

    Do you mean Bandwidth >> Current >> eth1 ?

    Or maybe you mean Status -> Device List -> Quality ?

    i'm thinking that if this number existed in tomato it would be here...

    i wish i could get a screen shot of dd-wrt with it... but basically in dd-wrt in one of the status pages for wireless there is a place that shows the current radio speed (54 Mbps, 48 Mbps)....

    It's not in the Tomato webGUI (yet), but if you can telnet or ssh in, type
    "/usr/sbin/wl rate" on the command-line and it will answer something like "rate is 24 Mbps". HTH.
