DD-WRT and TFTP server

  1. I know DD-WRT includes its own TFTP server for the upload of firmware images, etc.

However, I have a bunch of Cisco VoIP telephones, and other router's/switches/etc. within my own home network which is configurable via TFTP. I'd like to be able to host some files on the DD-WRT TFTP server (or another TFTP server that I can perhaps download via ipkg) which would only be accessable via my internal network (not available outside) and perhaps have the files reside on the /jffs partition.

How can I achive this great feat? I was thinking it was going to take starting the TFTP server, and making a symbolic link to a directory on the /jffs partition, etc. Anyone have any clue?

I was thinking "read-only" access to the TFTP server... I'd put files on it by writing to the jffs partition either through a samba mount or using wget off a web server.

    Thanks in advance.
  2. More

Actually, there is more to this...

If possible, I'd like that TFTP server to be accessable from both inside and outside of my router.... AND have a block in place so only a certain set of IP addresses (say 192.168.x.x) would be allowed to access it.
  3. Anyone?
