I have ASUS RT68U behind a cable modem (not directly exposed to the Internet but having DHCP enabled). Asus router is flashed with Advanced Tomato 3.5.

To use a DNS service for streaming and for other requirements I need to update my DDNS every hour. All required information is in DDNS tab of Tomato router but it isn't updating, opening the no-ip provided short link doesn't let me reach even the cable modem page.

In the IP address setting of DDNS tab in router it is set to "Use WAN IP address..."

By that statement, do you mean the cable modem is also a gateway and is not in transparent bridge mode? IE: In your routers web interface under Overview, does the WAN section show an IP address of 192.168.x.x or 10.1.x.x etc? In order for the DDNS function to work properly ( many other things as well ) your cable modem needs to be in transparent bridge mode. This mode will "pass through" the actual IP address your ISP issues to your routers WAN interface, rather than the cable modem receiving it and then giving your routers WAN a LAN IP.

In fact cable modem is in range and ASUS router with Advanced Tomato is and (two VALN I set following an online guide for two DNS on both VLAN).

I have heard from some subscribers of this ISP that you need to ask ISP to open one port for direct Internet exposure for many things to work properly like NAS, security cameras etc. But ISP has quite many restrictions in a web censored environment, probably I will have to give them a reason to get one LAN port open to direct Internet.

But in few initial attempts I was able to open DDNS address. It was taking me to web management page (which is locked by ISP) of cable router.
