Anyone know how to deal with the redboot bootloader on an IXP based environment?
At first i make a clean flash
    fis init -f
then i download the software with tftp and then write it to flash with
    fis create appimg1
But how can i create an empty partition to store config data?

    (BTW.: its an FVX538 router)

I'm not used to dealing with IPX, so I'm not sure if this answers your question or not, but have you looked here?

Also check the link on the top of the page I sent you to.
