Using Linksys EZXS55WV3 5 port fast ethernet switch connected to WRT54GV4 running DD-WRT v23 SP1 Final std when I check the DHCP Clients list under Status->LAN it shows that there aren't any clients....have 2 WinXP and Linux box hooked to the switch.

Is the switch stopping the query/report or am I missing a setting somewhere that would enable this report?

    Any help is appreciated!

It should work. I have Gigabit switch for all PC clients and they all show in the DHCP list. There is some bug in SP1 5/16/06 DNSMasq when a list gets wiped out under certain conditions. Make sure that your PC clients use dynamic IP. You would not get a computer in this list if it has a static IP. The easiest way to test is to renew IP and refresh the list.

I assume that you use DNSMasq for DHCP. I like DNSMasq since it is smaller in size and has many nice features like DNS caching, options to create IP aliases and so on.

Yep using DNSMasq...not sure what the disconnect was/is....still kind of hit or miss, sometimes they are listed other times they are not. The Linux box never shows...probably a firewall issue but I do see the windows machines occasionally...sometimes missing the comp name but the mac addy is listed.

Try to activate logging and see if anything is related to DNSMasq restarts and DHCP renewal.

It has been reporting the machine name and mac consistently now for a week or so...not sure what changed (maybe just time?) but I can see them all now.

No entries in the logs about DNSMasq or DHCP renewal.

All appears to be in order...

I've just installed DD-WRT v23 SP1 and am having the same exact problem.

The DHCP Client List shows the most recentl DHCP client, but after refreshing the page it is completely blank. However, I have three devices connected... (two PC's and a VoIP adapter)
