Ok does anyone know the extent of the DMZ functionality on linksys in general? More pointedly, if i put a machine in the DMZ will the router take any unsolicted incomming packets and send them to the DMZ, or is it still selective? Even more pointedly, if i put a machine in the DMZ with i loose vpn functionality to the edge device? Will i gain vpn functionality to the DMZ device? I dont want to test this from work right now in light of potentially locking myself out. Any input?

Ok for anyone curious, from a quickvpn standpoint. When the software DMZ is enabled on the WRV200 specifically, when a quickvpn tunnel is initiated it will via ssl traffic authenticate the user and then pass all the ike traffic to the DMZ host, rather strange in my opinion. So, remote access still works, but quickvpn ceases to function.
