I wanted to put 2 DNS entries in dnsmasq webfrontend of tomato 1.28 (beta) ..
After Saving them the router starts to lag and then the Wifi connection and the LAN Connection gets cut. Turning router off and on does not help anymore. Only solution is that I reset the router and load my previous saved config file..

Here a pic of my config.

these DNS Requests are made by my PS3 for checking new Firmware Update. I want to redirect these two DNS requests to the IP in the Picture instead of the official Sony Playstation Update Server.... Only the PS3 needs to be redirected with this DNS queries showed in the pic to the IP adress also showed in the Pic...

Am I doin it wrong ? Why is dnsmasq crashing the whole Router (WRT54GS v1) ? .. Is there any other solution I can go without installing additional packages..?

    use this format:

Naturally, place the url name and then the ip address.

    So you mean like this?

Only swapping the IP and the Adress?

    No he does mean

    see http://thekelleys.org.uk/dnsmasq/docs/dnsmasq-man.html

I guess putting incorrect values in causes dnsmasq to fail to start, and due to a crashing problem in about 1.23, Tomato now tries to restart it - this can be disabled

Just wondering, why not just enter that dns address on the PS3. BTW that what I do and it works also.

I am entering the DNS (my Router) on the PS3. I just dont want that DNS things can be seen from others (external DNS for the PS3 purpose)..

You are using an external DNS which is not your own ?

I enter the redirect DNS address on the PS3. Under manual settings for DNS. The address i use differs from yours, I have seen a couple of different once on the net. I assume your are doing this to avoid the 3.21 pudate.

Jap. Im doin it to avoid 3.21 Update and I am Using now my own http Server on my WRT54GS which is hosting the txt Files for the no-Updating workaround.. SO no external connection to any server or DNS for this workaround.
