    Hi Guys,

If i wanted to stop using my ISP`s DNS servers and lets say just use googles. I also dont use DHCP on my lan. Would the entries server=(google dns server ip) to the DNSmasq custom box and also the entry strict-order do the job? I have done some resaerch but cant seem to get a clear answer.

    Many Thanks,

So that will force the router to use those dns servers and not my ISP`s. I thought seeing as the static DNS is under the LAN tab then it applied only to clients via dhcp.

Enter Google DNS addresses in the basic network settings page. Then disable using received DNS and enable interception of DNS traffic using checkboxes in the advanced DHCP/DNS page. Custom settings not needed if you want the same settings for the whole LAN. If you want a particular device to use a different DNS service (such as OpenDNS parental filter) then you can either enter it manually on the target device and stop intercepting DNS traffic or you can use custom settings. There's a thread on how to do this from around 6-12 months ago.
